Tasting notes:

Nose: esters, overripe bananas, overripe hanging pears, apple jelly, leather gloves and polished sheet metal, as well as mint jelly, ripe strawberries, fruit trifle with chocolate shavings and cream.

Palate: Funky! Mint and sage jelly on a thick slice of grilled pork, Ramen soup, candied fruit, oven-roasted apple and flambéed pineapple.

Finish: Apple jelly topped with powdered sugar, candied apple topped with apple cider with a caramelized coulis.
