Tasting notes:

Nose: Funk galore with boat varnish, wood wax, pear drops, overripe bananas melting on rubber tyres in the hot sun, plus ripe apples fried in butter with honey, cloves served with butter biscuits. There are salt water taffies, dried orange peel, vegetal notes and antiseptic lotion. It’s reminiscent of a fabulous Jamaican rum.

Palate: That’s funky! Overripe sugarcane, ripe plantain with warm honey and cloves, rubber tyres, freshly hewn oak, metal shavings, fresh paint, acorns, hops and Thai peanut dipping sauce.

Finish: Mace, spices, followed by citrus notes.
