It is bottled at 46% alcohol without chill filtration to retain as much flavor and character as possible.
Tasting notes:
Color: Pale golden.
Aroma: Exceptional depth and balance. At full strength, the aroma is a seductive mix of toffee and chocolate sweetness, cinnamon and “medicinal” phenols. Fresh citrus and floral notes of white wine are present as well as notes of melon, pear, caramel cream, fresh sea spray and bonfire.
Taste: Initially there is a moderate and clean sweetness, followed by a mouthful of deep peat smoke. Shades of tobacco and strong espresso appear and then have to give way to syrup and licorice tones. The mouthfeel is slightly spicy, persistent, full and dry.
